ModelThe winner of the 2002 Nuestra Belleza Mexico pageant, Gonzalez went on to compete in Miss Universe 2003, but was eliminated early in the competition. She later played a recurring role on the telenovela La Verdad Oculta and worked as a reporter for the Mexican sports channel Televisa Deportes. She grew up in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. She appeared with Danna Paola in several episodes of the soap opera Contra Viento y Marea. She was briefly engaged to professional boxer Saul Alvarez. Gonzalez and her fellow competitors lost the 2003 Miss Universe pageant to Dominican model Amelia Vega.
